From breakfast to dinner together with the teacher

Where: agriturismo (countryside) in Tuscany, Umbria, Lazio and Sardinia.

When: from April to October.

Duration: 1-2 weeks.

What we offer: italian language and culture courses: film, literature, history, art, theatre, music, cooking and … much, much more.

Who we’re catering to
: ideal for those who would like to give themselves the gift of a complete language immersion course in Italian super-fast. The courses are designed for groups of 8 persons.

Why in an agriturismo
: in a wonderful relaxing atmosphere, we transform the desire to learn a language into a real pleasure.

With
Italiano in Casa :
• You will study intensively but in a relaxed and friendly environment.
• You will use “real” Italian to communicate and this will give you the motivation, trust and understanding to achieve results.
•  You will move from the tranquillity of the countryside to visits in cities rich with palaces, monuments and historic churches; from reading literature to tasting genuine food in its proper context...

Educational materials: the educational materials used favour the language actually spoken by Italians in real-life situations. The Association provides, in addition, a broad selection of materials in the original language: books, films in DVD and VHS, music, newspapers and magazines, text books on literature, history and society.

Visits and excursions:
The cultural visits and the excursions are organized according to the time of year, requests from participants, and location.

Italiano in Casa proposes, in particular, excursions to the following destinations:

in Lazio: Sutri (visit the Roman amphitheatre), Tarquinia (visit the Etruscan necropolis), Tuscania and Viterbo (Lazio’s best preserved medieval town).

in Tuscany: Capalbio (visit the Giardino dei Tarocchi, a splendid open-air museum housing a variety of sculptures), Montepulciano (visit the Abbey of St. Galgano: immersed in the silence of the country, the Abbey represents a rare example of gothic-Cistercian architecture in Italy), Montalcino and Cortona.

in Umbria: Orvieto (visit the Duomo, a masterpiece of romantic-gothic architecture), Todi and Spoleto (participation at the annual arts festival, the Festival dei Due Mondi).
